Host, Executive Producer
Radio veteran Ryan Rider is the Host and Executive Producer of Main Event Radio. He founded the show in February 2004. He brings passion and excitement to the airwaves. Ryan’s opinions are often controversial, yet respected. He is the centerpiece of the Main Event, the glue that holds everything together through thick and thin.
Over his broadcasting and communications career, Ryan has worked for CJAD, Virgin, CHOM, TSN, CJLO, CFCF-12, CFMB, and CINQ. He’s covered current events, entertainment, wrestling, MMA, hockey, football, soccer, NASCAR, and tennis. He promoted over 35 films for Paramount Pictures. Ryan regularly provides commentary for live wrestling & boxing broadcasts and DVDs.
Aside from sports and media, Ryan’s interests include film, television, music, cultural studies, stock investing, softball, bowling, skiing, technology, and politics.
